The general objective of the paper is to determine the productivity of corn farms in Isabela [Philippines]. It also determined the level of inputs utilization among corn farmers in the study area, measure the technical efficiency level and determined the major factors affecting productivity and technical efficiency of the sample corn farmers. Farm survey using personal interviews among 71 corn farmers in selected towns of Isabela province was conducted. Simple descriptive statistics as well as costs and returns analysis were used to determine the profitability of corn production. Stochastic frontier production function was used to determine the factors affecting the productivity and efficiency of corn production in the study area. The analysis shows that farmer respondents generated an average net farm income of Php 56,201 per hectare. The results of the stochastic frontier production function analysis revealed that human labor, seeds and fertilizer cost were the most important factors affecting the productivity of corn farms in the study area. Significant factors that were found to affect technical efficiency of the sample corn farmers were educational attainment of the farmer-respondents, experience in corn production, and availment of credit. In addition, availability of capital was the number one production related problem mentioned by the farmer-respondents.
