The studies found that the occurrence of acute postpartum purulent-catarrhal endometritis contributed inferiority of feeding diets, that is its unbalance on the content of nutrients in the autumn, winter and spring periods. Lack of calcium and phosphorus, as well as their abundance, lead to metabolic disorders in animals, which affects further adversely the reproductive function of cows.
