During the period 2006 – 2008 in the experimental field of Institute of Maize Knezha field experiment was conducted whit maize hybrid Kn M 611, which has cultivated without irrigation, optimum irrigation and periodical water deficit. The yield and the losses of grain are established by different meteorological conditions. The grain yield during the experimental period show the high genetically potential of this hybrid, the highest grain yields 11 000 kg/ha obtained when optimum irrigation, by different meteorological conditions. Shown are the results of the investigation which followed the effect of irrigation on grain maize productivity and produce losses under water-deficit conditions.
