Evaluation of international vetch germplasm in order to selection of suitable lines as spring crop under Maragheh rainfed conditionsý.

This study was conducted to evaluate international common vetch, narbon vetch and smooth vetch germplasm as three separate trials. Experiments were spring planted as in randomized complete blocks design with three replications. Maragheh as newly released variety was used as control in all trials. There was significant differences (P0.01) between different vetch lines regarding green stand percent, days to flowering, biological yield and grain yield. Mean biomass yield of different vetch lines were less that Maragheh however, there was no significant differences between some of them which were selected for further investigation.
