One hundred new maize hybrids produced from combination of four testers by 25 lines along with five promising hybrids and one commercial check hybrid, KSC 704 were evaluated in four locations (Karaj, Kermanshah, Dezful and Jiroft) in 2013, using randomized complete block design in three replications. The highest grain yield with 13.100, 13.070, 12.610, 11.890 and 11.810 t/ha, belonged to KSC 715, KSC 703, K47/2-2 x MO17, K47/21 x MO17 and K47/2-2 x K166B, respectively. Hybrid KSC 715 showed stability using some stability indices, as well as not stable with some others. Combination K47/2-2 x MO17 revealed stable, using most stability indices. Line x tester analysis revealed significant effect of lines and interaction of line x tester, meaning the variability among lines and role of additive and nonaddetive gene effects controlling grain yield. Line K47/3 identified as best combiner, which can be used as new tester in future. Key Words: Maize, Grain yield, Stability, Combining ability, Line x Tester, Additine, Nonadditive
