Identify and ecological investigation of Amygdalus genus in Bushehr Province.

The plant communities of Almond Genus (Amygdalus sp) from different pints of viws were studied in Bushehr province. At first the vegetation cover map with using 1:50,000 topographic maps and field check of Almond was prepared and that species were identified and those determined delineated on 1:250,000 topographic maps. Climatologocal condition was extracted from climatologic map of Iran and also 1:250,000 geology maps were used to show geologic formation of different sit. The soil condition was studied in six profiles. Deterioration factors (mankind, natural and economical uses) their role of sites were investigated. The seven sites were choosed as in order to study vegetation cover (quality and quantity). 40plot (400m*m area) were chose radomly in the sites considering: type, Almond age stand, and elevation and land aspect. In 20plots all of species plant (trees, shrubby, bush and herb) were recorded in addition to almond characteristics in quantity aspects. 2 species and 1 hybrid of Almond (Amygalus scoparia, A. ebumea, A. x. iranshahrii Khatamsaz) are having in Bushehr province. As the most important factors of Almonds forest deterioration in human activities are grazing, charcoal, firing, road construction, infrastructuer development and mining. The most important natural factors of Almond forests deterioration are beetle damages (Cpnodis) on roots and collar of trees. Three vegetation types were separated base on morphology and mixing species of Almond genus. Indicators are include; the number of shrubs in hectare, The average height shrubs to meters, The average of covering area of shrubs in sq meter, The average percentage covering area of types.Indicators studied in these type Amygdaus scoparia, type mixed A.eburnea + A . scoparia, A.eburnea pure and total Almond site.The number of trees ha, average height and type of vegetation was calculated and total vegetative habitat type 3, respectively, 411, 556, 462 and 530 trees, the habitat type and total order on 1.9, 1.8, 1.2 and 1.9 m, and almond respectively, compared to the total habitat 47.5, 47.5 and 5 percent.
