Evaluation of promising durum wheat cultivares and lines in on- farm condition in cold region Yasuj

In order to population growth and increasing human food need to cereal, special wheat, which is necessary for cultivation development of durum wheat various cultivars which is the primary materials of macaroni industries. This experiment was carried out in cropping season 2013-2014, with three new elite durum lines and three durum cultivars and Alvand as check using RCBD with tree replication in Boyer Ahmad region. Before the preparation of field , the fertilizers applied based on soil chemical analysis. During of growth period and after harvesting, traits such as, tiller number, days to heading, plant height, spike length, fertile tillers, grain yield and 1000 kernel weight were recorded. Analysis of variance showed a significant difference between genotypes based on grain yield. In this research, the maximum grain yield were related to Parsi with average of 5/929 T/ha.
