To study the chemical properties of fulvic acid extracted from four types of compost and animal manure and their iron complexation ability, an experiment was carried out in a laboratory condition. Fulvic acid extracted from four sources of municipal compost, cow manure, city waste vermi-compost and cellulosic compost .Their stability and formation constant were measured by using potentiometric method. The results showed that the ratio of ligand-to-metal in cellulosic compost, cow manure and city waste compost were 2:1 but in city waste vermicompost was 3:1. Maximum stability constants was in order cow manure, city waste vermicompost city waste compost and cellulosic compost, respectively. Key words: Fulvic acid, Compost , Fe-Fulvate, Stability constant.
