Citrus culture has a special importance in south of Iran. Because of increasing trend in citrus culture utilization of proper methods to improve quantity and quality of this product is essential. Investigations have revealed that use of relative advantages of various rootstocks can be used as a suitable method to increase the quality and quantity of this product. In addition, suitable rootstocks have been used to ameliorate, the dangerous effects of chilling and pathogenic agents. In order to choose the best combination of scion and rootstock with emphasis on better quantitative and qualitative characteristics of this product, a factorial experiment in a complete randomized block design was performed in Darab agricultural research station.. The experiment had 16 treatments and three replications. Treatments consisted of four mandarin cultivars (Kino, Orlando tanjolo, Kelemantin and Native cultivar) and 4 rootstocks which have been recognized suitable in introductory experiments. Analysis of variance and comparison of means by Duncan s multiple rang test showed that in vegetative phase, different combinations of scion and rootstocks has a significant effect on some vegetative indexes such as plant height and volume of canopy. Also in reproductive phase comparison of means showed that some combination of scions and rootstocks had a significant effect on plants yield and some qualitative indexes. Economic evaluation of different varieties under study showed that among varieties, Kino was the most suitable one and use of this variety on Rough lemon rootstock had the highest impure efficiency which could be considered as the most suitable treatment in regard to economic aspects. Second and third order in changes of impure efficiency was belonged to Mexican lime rootstock in combination with Kino and Orlando tangelo. Considering the low cost of production for Mexican lime, this advantage can be used as a proper attributes in mandarin gardens
