Increasing attention to medicinal plants cause crowding to nature and gathering a lot of medicinal plants from their habitat, by the users, cousumers and interested people, and endanger survinal of medicinal specieses. Recognition of the medicinal plants and their capabilities to cultivate, can be an effective step for preventing natural resources destruction. So we choosed Achillea filipendulina and Achillea millefolium, two important and native specieses of Ardabil province and studied their phenology in the natural and cutivated conditions. At first their habitats was determinated and then we gathered their seeds from different areas and planted them in the green house at 2002. the seeds ling were transferred into the plastic pots at the same year. The pot seedlings were transferred to the farm and planted each species separately in CRB desigons at the spring of2003. During 4 years we recorded the stages of phenology in the native and farm condition.(2002-200 5). Results showed that stages of phenology at 2003 have happened sooner than other years, because wethere was warmer in this year. Also results showed that the most of phonological stages in the bothe of species have happened in the upland habitats have happen later than others (zartosht Abad and onar). And in the lowland have happen sooner. Also the result showed that. both the species had more production in cultivated condition in compare with the natural condition. Best time for harvesting for Achillea filipendulina was from of lOth jully to ih Aug. and for A.m from 4th jun to Ith jul.
