Canola is an oilseed crop which has been considered or production oil and sel suiciency in Iran during the past ten years. This study was conducted during 2000- 2002 in Shavoor research station o Khuzestan to determine the eects o sources and rates o nitrogen on seed yield and quality o winter rape. The expriment was conducted on randomized complete blocks design in a actorial manner with three replications using 0, 60, 120, 180 and 240 KgN/ha combined with three sources o nitrogen: urea, ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulate was curried out. The experimented results revealed that nitrogen has main role in seed yield and on content o Canola . The greatest yield 2.5 tons/ha was obtained rom 240 KgN ha-1 (a=1%). The sources o nitrogen were signiicant but were not signiicant on other components yield (a=5%). Ammonium sulate and ammonium nitrate were better than urea. The interactive eects o rates and sources nitrogen were signiicant on the seed yield o Canola (a=5%) so that the highest yield about 3 tons ha-1 was obtained. rom 240 KgN ha-1 ammonium nitrate (a=5%). Other results rom interactive years, rates and sources were similar.
