英语. According to the statistics an average of 20-30 thousand tonnes of apple annually produced in Latvia. Apple pomace is a by-product of food production and would be feed to the deer to bear a certain amount of silage that is one of the main deer’s ration ingredients in the gardens. The aim of our project was to investigate and evaluate possibilities of obtaining of high-quality deer production (increased nutritional value of meat) in sustainable farming conditions when red deer (Cervus elaphus) were fed with by-product of apple juice production (apple pomace). The study objectives were to assess the apple juice production by-product (pomace) value of deer forage rations to explore food test conditions, the use of apple pomace deer feed rations and their effects on the body’s metabolism, level of productivity and quality of meat.
显示更多 [+] 显示较少 [-]拉脱维亚语. Pēc statistikas datiem Latvijā ik gadu iegūst vidēji ap 20 000–30 000 t lielu ābolu ražu. Atkarība no ābolu šķirnes labos ābolu gados vidēji valstī var iegūt līdz 5 000 t spiedpalieku (kopumā pārstrādājot 18 000–20 000 t ābolu), bet neražas gados līdz 2 000 t. spiedpalieku. Katru gadu ābolu ražas un spiedpalieku iegūtais apjoms Kurzemē, Vidzemē un Latgalē ir atšķirīgs. Pētījumu mērķis projekta ietvaros bija izpētīt un izvērtēt augstvērtīgas briežkopības produkcijas (paaugstinātas uzturvērtības gaļas) ieguves iespējas ilgtspējīgas saimniekošanas apstākļos, izmantojot staltbriežu (Cervus elaphus) ēdināšanā ābolu sulas ražošanas atliekproduktus (ābolu spiedpaliekas). Pētījuma uzdevumi: izvērtēt ābolu sulu ražošanas atliekproduktu (spiedpalieku) lopbarības vērtību un ēdināšanas izmēģinājuma apstākļos izpētīt ābolu spiedpalieku izmantošanu briežu barības devās – to ietekmi uz organisma metabolismu, produktivitāti un gaļas kvalitāti.
