In the article possibilities of obtaining of hard spring wheat grain of high quality in the conditions of the Oryol region are examined. Indicators of quality of the hard wheat cultivated in the conditions of Samara and Oryol areas are resulted. Valuable selection samples of hard spring wheat: Bezenchuksky golden, Marina and lines №1898d-9, №1898d-6, perspective for the further research are determined.
