Results of field experiments with application of mixes of herbicides for preliminary chemical treatment of ground under plantation of a pine and a fir on clear cut areas in a taiga zone of Russia are given. The most effective and perspective two- and three-component mixtures of modern herbicides for control of grass cover and undesirable wood vegetation and safe for subsequent plantation are determinated.
