In course of the research there were studied the global market of egg production. As a result of realized research there were revealed the problem concerning the production and consumption of eggs in the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus. The practical example of the work of the Open Society 'First Minsk Poultry Factory' was presented. Such issues as the theoretical basis for the organization of enterprises in the domestic and foreign markets; forms of entering the foreign markets (export, joint venturing, direct investment abroad), export, the use of intermediaries in the marketing of eggs, franchising in the poultry industry, joint ventures, a horizontal integration strategy, benefits and costs of vertical integration: theoretical aspects; analysis of international experience in egg production; major economic indicators of production and consumption of eggs in the Russian Federation, egg production in the Republic of Belarus: state and prospects; analysis of export potential of poultry the Republic of Belarus; analysis of economic and financial activity of the Open Society 'First Minsk Poultry Factory'; its SWOT-analysis (opportunities/threats, strengths/weaknesses parties) to develop competitive strategies were considered.
