In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented data on the results of studies on biological efficiency of a new national microbial preparation Bactosol against potato (Solanum tuberosum) rots in the course of storage life. It was shown that Bactosol treatment of tubers prior to winter conservation ensured control of dry fusarial rot and anthracnose by 54-57% and 58-64%, respectively, as compared to chemical analog efficiency values of 80 and 81.8%.
