Stingless bees are known to be indigenous in the Bicol region. The study was conducted to determine the nest trees and distribution of different stingless bees in selected areas in Camarines Sur and Sorsogon. Counting of the number of colonies per tree, identification of the nest trees and mapping of these colonies were carried out. Abundance of stingless bee colonies was low due to the hunting practices of the bee hunters. Nest trees were coconut, pili, mango, narra, lapiting, santol and jackfruit in Sorsogon while Si-O, gumihan, lawaan, Antipolo and mango in Camarines Sur. The species collected from Camarines Sur and Sorsogon and examined for its nest architecture was identified as Tetragonula biroi.
