Physical and technical properties of wool fibers depending on the breed | Физико-технические свойства шерстных волокон в зависимости от породности овец

英语. The difference in the physical and technical properties of wool fibers of the Kulundinskaya sheep breed and their crosses from Texel stud rams with Ѕ and ѕ blood shares were under study. The research objectives included: a) to determine the fineness and length of wool fibers depending on the season of shearing; b) wool fiber density and wool fat amount; and c) quantitative proportion of wool fibers throughout the year. Three groups of 10 animals were formed. All trial animals were compatible in terms of live weight and were clinically healthy. Ten wool samples were taken from body side and thighs of each animal to study wool quality at laboratory. The evaluation was conducted by wool fractions: down, transitional, and the guard fibers. The main technical properties of wool were determined on samples taken during spring and autumn shearing. It was found that the crossbred female lambs bearing ѕ blood shares from Texel breed had the wool quality close to semi-fine. At the same time, there were animals in the flock with semi-coarse wool. Wool becomes more uniform thus representing a valuable raw material to make carpets, fulling fabrics and the like, as opposed to the wool obtained from coarse-wool sheep. In order not to lose the most valuable part of the raw material, down, sheep should be shorn in the end of the formation of downy fibers prior to molting; spring and autumn shearing should be done before weeds ripen not to contaminate the wool. That is why coarse-wool sheep are shorn twice a year.

俄语. Выявляли отличия физико-технических свойств шерстных волокон кулундинских овец и помесей от баранов породы тексель с Ѕ и ѕ долей кровности. В задачи исследования входило определить тонину и длину шерстных волокон в зависимости от сезона стрижки, густоту шерсти и количество шерстного жира, количественное соотношение шерстных волокон за год. Материалом для исследования послужили животные желательного типа, (3 группы по 10 животных в каждой). Все они являлись аналогами по живой массе и были клинически здоровы. Качество шерсти изучали у всех подопытных животных лабораторно по 10 образцов, взятых с бока и ляжки. Отдельно оценивали пуховые, переходные и остевые волокна. Основные технические свойства шерсти определяли по образцам, взятым в весеннюю и осеннюю стрижки. Установлено, что помесных ярочек с ѕ долей кровности по породе тексель шерсть по качественным показателям приближается к полутонкой, хотя в стаде встречаются животные с полугрубой шерстью. Шерсть становится более уравненной, тем самым представляет собой более ценное сырье для изготовления ковров, ковровых, валяльных изделий, чем шерсть, полученная от грубошерстных овец. Чтобы не утратить пух – наиболее ценную часть сырья, овец необходимо стричь в момент окончания формирования пухового волокна. До начала линьки весеннюю и осеннюю стрижки нужно проводить до наступления созревания сорных растений, которые могут загрязнять шерсть животных, поэтому грубошерстных овец стригут два раза в год.
