In a course of the research there was studied efficiency of cobalt fertilizers in summer barley (Hordeum vulgare) cultivation on sandy soil with different cobalt supply levels. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in the field experiment with spring barley in GP ‘Experimental base named after Suvorov in ‘Uzda district on the sod-podzolic sandy loam soil, growing on loose fluvioglacial sandy loams. Agrochemical characteristics of topsoil with cultivation of barley: pH KCl - 6.6, humus content - 2.3% P2O5 and K2O - 210 and 310 mg/kg of soil. The original content of mobile cobalt in the arable soil layer was 0.87 mg/kg of soil. As a result of research it was revealed that main amount of the element accumulated mainly in the upper layer of humus-accumulative soil. The concentration of cobalt in the gross arable horizon increased the saturation levels. The optimum parameters of nutrition barley with cobalt depending on the supply levels of sod-podzolic sandy soil with this element which enhance the productivity and the cobalt content in the grain were given.
