Perspectives of breeding work with Belarusian Large White breed of pigs

As a result of scientific researches used and collaboration with specialists and breeders at breeding farms for practice breeding, selection herds of sows were created in the amount of 1100 animals with efficiency corresponding and exceeding requirements of target standard: multiple pregnancy – 12,0 animals, age at live weight of 100 kg – 173,4 days, average daily weight gain – 837 g, feed spends – 3,38 f.u., backfat thickness – 23,2 mm, ham weight – 11,3 kg. A genetic testing of plant populations of pig breeds by gene IGF-2 and by marker of fattening and meat qualities was carried out, its results are analyzed and genetic structure of herd is determined taking into account genotype of IGF-2 gene. The estimation of reproductive qualities of sows is spent at interlinear and is breed-linear crossing with use of index (CPI). The selection schemes providing the effect of heterosis are made. The linear estimation of fattening and meat qualities of pigs of breed with using of index of meat and fattening qualities (IMFQ) is spent. The best combinations of parental pairs of pigs of the Belarusian Large White breed are revealed. Schemes of selection are created to ensure effect of heterosis by reproductive and meat and fattening traits.

В результате использования научных разработок и совместной со специалистами-селекционерами хозяйств практической селекционной работы созданы селекционные стада свиноматок в количестве 1100 голов с продуктивностью, соответствующие и превышающие требования целевого стандарта: многоплодие – 12,0 гол., возраст достижения живой массы 100 кг – 173,4 дней, среднесуточный прирост –837 г, затраты корма – 3,38 к. ед., толщина шпика – 23,2 мм, масса окорока – 11,3 кг. Проведено генетическое тестирование заводских популяций свиней породы по гену IGF-2, маркеру откормочных и мясных качеств, проанализированы его результаты и определена генетическая структура стада с учётом генотипа гена IGF-2. Проведена оценка репродуктивных качеств свиноматок при межлинейном и породно-линейном скрещивании с использованием индекса (ИВК). Составлены схемы подбора, обеспечивающие эффект гетерозиса. Проведена линейная оценка откормочных и мясных качеств свиней породы с использованием индекса мясо-откормочных качеств (ИМОК). Выявлены лучшие сочетания родительских пар свиней белорусской крупной белой породы. Составлены схемы подбора, обеспечивающие эффект гетерозиса по воспроизводительным и мясо-откормочным качествам.
