Use of electrophoresis of storage proteins in spring triticale seed growing

In a course of the research there was studied the feasibility of use of electrophoresis method of storage proteins in the selection of elite ears in spring triticale seed growing. The research was realized in the conditions of Republic of Belarus in 2012-2013 on the trial fields of the Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Arable Farming, Zhodino (Belarus) on sod-podzolic cohesive sandy loam soil. As a result of realized research there were revealed that the use of this method provided the production of high-quality original seeds of the nursery of the first year of multiplication without yield decrease and made it possible to refuse testing nurseries of the second year progenies in seed growing schemes.
