The results of long-term researches on the efficiency evaluation of Butisan 400 SC herbicide on Brassica campestris L. crops for food purposes using pre-emergence and post-emergence mode of application were presented. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of realized research it was revealed that pre-emergence treatment of the crops with 1.5-2.0 l/ha of the studied preparation decreases crop weediness by 69.1-90.4% and provided oilseed yield increase by 8.5-10.0 c/ha (47.8- 56.2). When Butisan 400 herbicide was used in the post-emergence period, its efficiency was lower and weed death was 57.5-77.2%, and the oilseed yield increase was 2.8-7.4 c/ha (15.7-41.6%). Biological effectiveness of pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide application Butisan 400 on sowings of winter colza (average for 2008-2011) and oilseeds of winter colza in 2009-2012, the influence of herbicide Butisan 400 on a biological content of oilseeds of winter colza (average for 2009-2012) were presented.
