Estimation of selection variety samples of oilseed flax according to the duration of the main phases of vegetation and fatty acid content of oil

Selection of oilseed flax should be directed to the creation of new varieties that should have, in addition to high yield and output of oil, the optimal quality for industrial, food and medical use. In this regard, it is important to analyze the relationship between biochemical indices of oil and the impact on them of the duration of both the whole growing season and its separate phases. The results of evaluation of samples of oilseed flax in the nursery of selection variety testing were presented. Correlations between the length of the growing season with the content of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids in the oil of examined variety samples were analyzed. Positive strong relationship between the total duration of the growing season and the period of ‘shoots-bloom’ and the content of saturated acids were established. It was noted that the oleic acid content is negatively correlated with the total duration of the growing period (r = -0.622) and the duration of shoots-bloom period (r = -0.517), and bloom-maturation period (r = -0.403). Established patterns should be considered when conducting selection work to create edible varieties of oilseed flax. Established strong correlation between the content of Alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid (r = -0.974) should be considered in conducting selection work to create varieties of oilseed flax for technical purposes.

Селекция льна масличного должна быть направлена на создание новых сортов культуры, которые должны обладать помимо высокой урожайности и выхода масла, оптимальным для промышленного, пищевого и медицинского использования качеством. В связи с этим представляется важным проанализировать зависимости между биохимическими показателями масла, а также влияние на продолжительность их как вегетационного периода, так и отдельных его фаз. Представлены результаты оценки образцов льна масличного в питомнике селекционного сортоиспытания. Проведен анализ корреляционных связей между продолжительностью вегетационного периода с содержанием насыщенных и ненасыщенных жирных кислот в масле исследуемых сортообразцов. Установлена положительная сильная связь между общей продолжительностью вегетационного периода и периода ‘всходы-цветение’ и содержанием насыщенных кислот. Отмечено, что содержание олеиновой кислоты отрицательно коррелирует с общей продолжительностью вегетационного периода (r=-0.622) и продолжительностью периода всходы-цветение (r=-0.517) и цветение-созревание (r=-0.403), установленные закономерности необходимо учитывать при ведении селекционной работы по созданию сортов льна масличного пищевого назначения. Обнаруженную сильную корреляционная зависимость между содержанием Alpha-линоленовой кислоты и линолевой (r=-0.974) необходимо учитывать при ведении селекционной работы по созданию сортов льна масличного технического назначения.
