Цель настоящего исследования – поиск и изучение морфологических особенностей спонтанных соматических мутаций на некоторых видах рода Abies Hill и обоснование возможности использования их в селекционных целях. Представлены результаты изучения морфологических особенностей спонтанных соматических мутаций трех видов пихты. Показана перспективность их использования для получения новых устойчивых декоративных садовых форм. Таким образом, исследованные спонтанные соматические мутации, выявленные на представителях рода Abies L., обладают набором морфологических признаков, обеспечивающих формирование у них самостоятельной компактной, обильно ветвящейся миникроны с высокими декоративными качествами. Отсутствие видимых повреждений болезнями и вредителями позволяет рекомендовать их в качестве исходного материала для получения жизнеспособных карликовых декоративных садовых форм.

Characteristics of morphological features of spontaneous somatic mutations and maternal trees are analyzed. Fragments of the branch with spontaneous somatic mutation are displayed. The research reveals the number of morphological features supplying formation of independent compact ramulous canopy with high ornamental qualities. The authors demonstrate the perspectives of using spontaneous somatic mutations of Abies specie to produce new resistant ornamental garden forms.
