Belarusian inbreed type of pigs in duroc breed

and creation of high-productive inbreed type. The article presents the data and characteristics of animals of the inbreed type in the Duroc breed. Genealogical structure of the inbreed type and number of animals at basic enterprises of the Republic of Belarus are stated. Reproductive traits of sows and fattening and meat traits of young animals are studied. As a result of the research a new high-productive meat inbreed type of swine has been created including 100 main and experimental boars and 500 sows. Animals received during the experiment are widely used on industrial complexes during production of high-quality pork meat.
