Eiropas nozīmes biotopu kartēšana visos meža īpašumos

英语. In Latvia planned to carry out the EU's interest in biotope mapping throughout the country – both public and private forests. This is determined by EU directives and the Latvian national law and policy, such as environmental policy guidelines for 2014 to 2020th year. Each EU Member State to determine the specific reference of the biotope area, a specific protected biotope in Member State is present. Mapping result will provide information on the EU's interest in biotope extent and condition of the country as a whole, as well as rare and protected species and other natural values, such as trees. Accurate and up to date data on habitat quantity and quality will allow a better balance between environmental protection and economic development. In Latvia has been developed and approved mapping methodology in July 2016. The country is divided into 495 squares, and developed their visiting plan. Work carried out by experts till 31 December 2019. Once the biotopes and other natural values identification will be carried out in the country, the natural value of the information will be made publicly available. The forest is only a part of the EU's specially protected biotope types. After the completion of the natural census will be provide information on other protected biotope types, for example, grassland and marsh biotopes. It is currently undergoing in cooperation with nature conservation and peat production industry in order to biotope identification across the country could to plan development of the sector.

拉脱维亚语. Latvijā plānots veikt ES nozīmes biotopu kartēšanu visā teritorijā – gan valsts, gan privātajos mežos. To nosaka gan ES direktīvas, gan Latvijas nacionālā likumdošana un politika, piemēram, Vides politikas pamatnostādnes 2014.– 2020. gadam. Katrai ES dalībvalstij ir jānosaka konkrētā biotopa references platība, kādā konkrētais aizsargājamais biotops dalībvalstī ir sastopams. Kartēšanas rezultātā tiks iegūta informācija par ES nozīmes biotopu izplatību un stāvokli valstī kopumā, kā arī retām un aizsargājamām sugām un citām dabas vērtībām, piemēram dižkokiem. Precīzi un aktuāli dati par biotopu daudzumu un kvalitāti ļaus labāk sabalansēt dabas aizsardzību un tautsaimniecības attīstību. Latvijā ir izstrādāta un pagājušā gada jūlijā apstiprināta kartēšanas metodika. Valsts ir sadalīta 495 kvadrātos, un izstrādāts to apmeklēšanas plāns. Darbi ekspertiem jāveic līdz 2019. gada 31. decembrim. Tiks vērtēta arī biotopu kvalitāte četrās kategorijās. Tiklīdz biotopu un citu dabas vērtību apzināšana būs veikta valstī, šī dabas vērtību informācija būs publiski pieejama. Mežs ir tikai daļa no ES īpaši aizsargājamo biotopu veidiem. Pēc dabas skaitīšana pabeigšanas būs pieejama informācija arī par citiem aizsargājamo biotopu veidiem. Piemēram, zālāju un purvu biotopiem. Pašlaik notiek dabas aizsardzības un kūdras ražotāju nozares sadarbība, lai pēc biotopu apzināšanas visā valstī varētu plānot nozares attīstību.
