Assessment of status and productivity of black currant in industrial plantations under conditions of the Central Chernozem Region | Оценка состояния и продуктивности смородины черной в промышленных насаждениях в условиях ЦЧР

The research was conducted under conditions of the Central Chernozem Region in 2002-2011 to identify the effect of the system of soil content on nutrient status, hydrophysical soil properties, growth and yield of different varieties of black currant with the aim of improving the technology of cultivation of this crop in industrial plantations. The experiment involved perennial plantings of Zelenaya Dymka, Katyusha, Tatianin Den, Sozvezdie, Cherny Zhemchug varieties located on flat and slope sites. Experiments were done in two variants: variant 1 – clean cultivation (control), variant 2 – grassing of soil in inter-row spacings (GIRS) with Eastern galega (Galega orientalis). The analyses of plant and soil samples, phenological observations and records were carried out according to conventional techniques (in four replications). It was found that long-term GIRS has a positive effect on humidity and nutrient status of the soil, plant growth and development, yield and crop quality parameters. With artificial GIRS the soil humidity on average by year in the layer of 0-20 cm was 22.6-56.4% higher compared to clean cultivation and 2.51-10.03% higher in the layer of 40-60 cm. It was found that the soil in inter-row spacings under Eastern galega was less dense than at clean cultivation: the average water absorption rate in the grassed inter-row spacings was higher by 9.45 ml/min than in control. Biometric parameters of plants when there was GIRS exceeded the control ones (on average by variety): by 6.9% in height, by 9.56% in crown volume and by 9.6% in leaf area. The yields were higher in experimental plots with GIRS for 8-10 years: by 17.7% in Tatianin Den variety, by 11.3% in Zelenaya Dymka and by 8.3% in Sozvezdie while in control the yields of these varieties were 3.00-3.27 t/ha.

В условиях Центрально-Черноземного региона в 2002-2011 гг. проведены исследования по выявлению влияния системы содержания почвы на питательный режим, водно-физические свойства почвы, рост и урожайность различных сортов смородины черной с целью совершенствования технологии возделывания этой культуры в промышленных насаждениях. В эксперименте использовали многолетние насаждения сортов Зеленая дымка, Катюша, Татьянин день, Созвездие, Черный жемчуг, расположенные на ровных и склоновых участках. Опыты были заложены по двум вариантам: 1-й вариант – черный пар (контроль), 2-й вариант – задернение почвы в междурядьях (ЗМ) галегой восточной (Galega orientalis). Анализы растительных и почвенных образцов, фенологические наблюдения и учеты выполнены по общепринятым методикам (повторность 4-кратная). Выявлено, что многолетнее ЗМ благоприятно влияет на влажность и питательный режим почвы, на рост и развитие растений, на урожайность и показатели качества культуры. При искусственном ЗМ влажность почвы в среднем по годам в слое 0-20 см была на 22,6-56,4% выше в сравнении с черным паром, а в слое 40-60 см – на 2,51-10,03%. Установлено, что почва в междурядьях под галегой восточной была менее плотной, чем под черным паром: средняя скорость впитывания воды в задерненных междурядьях превышала контроль на 9,45 мл/мин. Биометрические показатели растений при ЗМ превышали контрольные показатели (в среднем по сортам): по высоте – на 6,9%, объему кроны – на 9,56%, площади листа – на 9,6%. Урожайность смородины была выше на опытных участках при ЗМ в течение 8-10 лет: сорт Татьянин день – на 17,7%, Зеленая дымка – на 11,3%, Созвездие – на 8,3% при урожайности этих сортов в контроле 3,00-3,27 т/га.
