Intercropping cassava and rubber has not been recommended, because of competition for living conditions. Now cassava intercropping in young rubber plantation tends to increase. It is necessary to study on appropriate measures of intercropping cassava and rubber to increase in benefit and reduce in bad effect on development of rubber tree. The experiment with 7 treatments of fertilizer and intercropping was implemented on basaltic soil in flu Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province from June 2012 to January 2014. The results showed that: The treatment with 5 rows per range gave high yield in the first year and reducing in the second year. In addition, competition of living condition between cassava and major crop reduced in number of left stratum and diameter of stem, so it is not encouraged to apply. The treatments with 3 - 4 rows per range created number of left stratum and diameter of stem above standards of Vietnam Rubber Cooperation. Specially, with 4 rows per range gave 25.65 tons of fresh cassava per hectare in the second year, equal of 5 rows per range.
