Factors shaping interventional policy in agricultural sector

The aim of the article was to present the role and importance of agricultural policy as a form of interventionism in the market mechanism. It also identifies the important role of cooperatives in agriculture. The reason for the discussions that have been conducted for years on the subject of state interventionism in the agriculture of countries with market economies is the need to evaluate solutions being used around the world. In a market economy, agricultural policy is a form of state intervention in the functioning of the market mechanism for the purpose of its improvement, particularly in the areas where it fails to function properly. This results from the essence of interventionism.
