This paper determines Hanwoo farmers' preferences for government support programs, by implementing the best-worst scaling approach. Farmers are segmented based on the relative importance, which is perceived by the farmers, of support programs. Among thirteen support programs for Hanwoo farmers, four different programs, namely, feed cost sharing program, checkoff program, slaughterhouses restructuring, and animal disease control were of paramount importance to Hanwoo farmers. However, significant variations are found among farmers in the relative importance of support programs, dependent on farm scales.
