The Agriculture sector plays a central role in Pakistan's economy. For vibrant national economy, accelerated development in agriculture is inevitable. There are three institutional components involved in the development of agriculture i.e. agricultural research, agricultural extension and agricultural education. In Pakistan, agricultural universities and colleges contribute in the field of agricultural education and to some extent in agricultural research. Department of Agricultural Extension in University of Agriculture, Faisalabad is actively involved in imparting training and teaching methodologies and communication techniques to the future extension workers in addition to conducting valuable research in the field of agricultural extension. But the value of research can only be maximized when reviewed and analyzed for the purpose of shedding lights on implication and trends with in a field with the ultimate goal of proposing directions and suggestion guidelines for advancing both the field and profession. The present study is therefore proposed to analyze M.Sc. (Hons.) dissertations submitted to the department of Agricultural Extension, University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The Meta analysis technique was used for the study. This technique has been used in a number of studies to trace themes and issues in the related fields. All dissertations of M.Sc. (Hons.) from 2000 through 2009 (10 years) were analyzed in this study. The analysis was based on reading certain parts of each dissertation to obtain needed data. The data was entered into SPSS and analyzed for tabulation and interpretation.
