Age-related variability of the suckling calves morphophysiological status in the selenium-deficient region | Возрастная изменчивость морфофизиологического статуса телят-молочников в селенодефицитном регионе

There was studied the effect of selenopyran (SP) on the morphophysiological parameters of the calves, grown under the conditions of the selenium-deficient region, in the following developmental stages: feeding with colostrum, milk, and transitional one. Two groups of calf-analogues (n = 20) with identical conditions of drinking, feeding and maintenance were formed. I group animals served as a control. Calves of group II at the age of 1, 25 and 50 days received an organic selenopyran compound in a rate of 0.1 mg/kg body mass. At the age of 1 day, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 days, morphological, physiological and biochemical indices were studied. The results were considered as reliable by the Mana-Whitney criterion at P less 0.05. The Spearman correlation coefficient (r) was calculated. The clinical and physiological parameters of the experimental calves lay within the limits of the physiological norm. In the period of 30...60 days the advantage of young animals receiving a joint venture was 12.29% (P less 0.01) in relative growth rate, and 2.1% at 150...180-day age. The number of leukocytes: аt the age of 60 days, the difference between the groups was 22.9% (P less 0.05). The number of erythrocytes of the experimental animals was significantly lower than in the control (P less 0.05). The level of total protein in the blood serum from 30 to 180-day-old age was higher in calves receiving SP (0.16...5.83%). The activity of AlAT increased during the studies: 9.7 ± 0.29 vs. 30.9 ± 0.88 and 10.6 ± 0.66 vs. 32.1 ± 1.28 u/l in the I and II groups, respectively. The dynamics of AsAT was undulating (39.0 ± 1.53...73.5 ± 2.67 u/l). The number of significant correlations between body weight and blood indices at the 1- and 180-day-old age was revealed. The appointment of the SP biologically active additive to the calves grown in the conditions of the selenium deficit biogeochemical province is accompanied by selective stimulation of morphophysiological and physiological-biochemical indices due to the normalization of the requirements of animals in selenium participating in the metabolism of iodine. This contributes to the formation of a high vitality of the growing organism, adaptation of its physiological processes and functions to the environmental factors.

Изучено влияние органического соединения селенопирана (СП) на морфофизиологические параметры телят, выращиваемых в условиях селенодефицитного региона, в фазы питания молозивом, молоком и в переходную. Сформировано 2 группы телят-аналогов (n=20) с идентичными условиями поения, кормления и содержания. Животные I группы служили контролем. Телятам II группы в возрасте 1, 25 и 50 сут вводили СП в дозе 0,1 мг/кг. В возрасте 1 сутки, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 и 180 сут у подопытных животных изучали морфо-физиологические и физиолого-биохимические показатели. Результаты считали достоверными по критерию Мана-Уитни при Р меньше 0,05. Рассчитывали коэффициент корреляции Спирмена (r). Клинико-физиологические параметры подопытных телят были в пределах физиологической нормы. В период 30…60 сут преимущество молодняка II гр. по относительной скорости роста составляло 12,29% (Р меньше 0,01) и 2,1% в 150...180 дней. Количество лейкоцитов в крови: в 60-дневном возрасте межгрупповая разница составляла 22,9% (Р меньше 0,05). Число эритроцитов подопытных животных было достоверно ниже, чем в контроле (P меньше 0,05). Уровень общего белка в сыворотке крови с 30- до 180-суточного возраста был выше у телят II гр. (0,16…5,83%). Активность АлАТ увеличивалась в ходе исследований: от 9,7±0,29 до 30,9±0,88 и от 10,6±0,66 до 32,1±1,28 ед./л в I и II группах, соответственно. Динамика АсАТ была волнообразной (39,0±1,53...73,5±2,67 ед./л). Выявлен ряд значимых корреляций между массой тела и показателями крови в возрасте 1 и 180 дн. Назначение СП телятам раннего возраста, содержащимся в условиях селенодефицитной биогеохимической провинции, сопровождается избирательным стимулированием морфофизиологических и физиолого-биохимических показателей благодаря нормализации потребности животных в селене, участвующем в метаболизме йода. Это способствует формированию высокой жизнеспособности растущего организма, адаптации его физиологических процессов и функций к факторам окружающей среды.
