The study of the relationship between blood indices and velvet antler production of marals | Исследование взаимосвязи показателей крови с пантовой продуктивностью маралов

英语. The studies to reveal the relationship between the blood indices of maral stags and their velvet antler production were carried out at one of the stud farms of the Respublic of Altai. The observation object was a group of red deer born in 2007, a total of 507 heads. It was found that in marals during the growth of the age from 2 to 9 years the weight of raw antlers increased by 80.5%; and from 3 to 9 years, the weight of the left and right antlers increased by 65.0%. Over 7 years (from 2009 through 2016), the length of antler beam increased by 94.2%, and the circumference increased by 80.0%. During antler cutting time, the studied group of marals had the RBC count of 9.2*10E12 L which corresponds to the lower level of the physiological standard for marals. The maral stags had the WBC count of 4.5*10E9 L which was by 15.5% higher than the lower level. The content of calcium and phosphorus in the blood serum of stag marals was within the physiological range and amounted to 2.61 and 2.15 mmol L, respectively. The total protein content amounted to 79.1 ± 1.17 g L, and alkaline reserve – to 140.3 ± 0.12 mmol L. When studying the relationship between the RBC count and the weight of raw antlers of maral stags, intermediate direct correlation of 0.46 was found; between the RBC count and antler beam length – intermediate direct correlation of 0.34; and between the RBC count and antler beam circumference – very weak indirect correlation of 0.1 (p less than 0.001). The coefficient of correlation between the WBC count and raw antler weight, antler beam length and circumference is from r = +0.28 to r = +0.30, respectively, which determines a weak direct correlation at p less than 0.001. It was found that the blood indices in all maral stags corresponded to the physiological standard, there were no metabolic disorders; the animals were healthy. The study of the relationship between the blood morphological indices and velvet antler production of maral stags revealed that the RBC count in marals during antler cutting time was more related to raw antler weight than to the WBC count.

俄语. В одном из племенных заводов Республики Алтай проведены исследования по выявлению взаимосвязи показателей крови рогачей и пантовой продуктивности. Объектом наблюдений был группа рогачей 2007 года рождения, всего 507 гол. Установлено, что у маралов за время роста от 2 до 9 лет масса сырых пантов увеличилась на 80,5%, а с 3 до 9 лет масса левого и правого панта возросла на 65,0%. Длина ствола пантов за 7 лет (2009-2016) увеличилась на 94,2%, а обхват повысился на 80,0%. В изучаемой группе маралов в период срезки пантов количество эритроцитов в крови составляло 9,2*10E12/л, что соответствует нижнему уровню физиологической нормы для маралов. Лейкоцитов в крови рогачей содержится 4,5*10E9/л, что выше нижней нормы на 15,5%. Кальций и фосфор в сыворотке крови у маралов-рогачей находится в пределах физиологической нормы – 2,61 и 2,15 ммоль/л соответственно. Общий белок составляет 79,1±1,17 г/л, резервная щелочность – 140,3±0,12 ммоль/л. При выявлении взаимосвязи между уровнем эритроцитов и массой сырых пантов рогачей установлена положительная средней силы корреляция 0,46, длиной ствола – умеренная положительная 0,34, а обхватом ствола – очень слабая отрицательная 0,1 (р меньше 0,001). Коэффициент корреляции между количеством лейкоцитов в крови и массой сырых пантов их длиной и толщиной составляет r = от +0,28 до +0,30 соответственно, что определяет слабую положительную связь при р меньше 0,001. Таким образом, установлено, что у всех рогачей показатели крови соответствуют физиологической норме, нарушений в обмене веществ нет, животные здоровы. При выявлении взаимосвязи морфологических показателей крови с пантовой продуктивностью рогачей отмечаем, что количество эритроцитов в крови маралов в период срезки пантов находится в большей взаимосвязи с массой сырых пантов, чем с содержанием лейкоцитов.
