Physiological peculiarities of different sexual and age groups of murgabpopulation of the pamir yak ecotype | Физиологические особенности разных половозрастных групп мургабской популяции памирского экотипа яков

The purpose of the research was to study the physiological parameters of different age and sex groups of the Pamir ecotype of yak population in the harsh climatic conditions of the mountains in the Republic of Tadzhikistan. The experimental part of the work was conducted in July-October under conditions of a dehqan farm situated at the altitude of 4200 m above sea level. 20 female yaks aged 4–5 years and older were chosen for the experiment. The thermotopography of their skin was measured with an electro-thermometer, the body temperature was taken rectally with a veterinary thermometer, the respiration rate was determined visually by a stop-watch and the pulse rate was taken with a phonendoscope for 60 s (at the ambient temperature of 0 to 20 deg. C). It has been proved that the average body temperature in adult yaks and young animals is by 0.2–0.3 deg. C lower than in common cattle of the equivalent age and is 37.7-38.9 deg. C in adult animals and 38.0-39.8 deg. C in young animals. It is shown that with an increase in air temperature (at noon), the pulse in young yaks increases by an average of 32 ticks and their breathing quickens by 27 respiratory movements as compared with adult animals. Yaks are well adapted to low air temperatures, and in hot days (at air temperature in the sun of 20–25 deg. C) their vital activity, sate and health deteriorate, this especially concerns young yaks. The number of respiratory movements in yaks may 2–3 times exceed this index in cattle of domestic breeds. A possibility of heat transfer in yaks through the body surface is less pronounced than in cattle of domestic breeds, which is associated with the abundant covering in yaks, as well as with the thickness and peculiarities of their skin structure. The greatest differences in skin temperature, when the ambient temperature varies from 15 to 20 deg. С, are observed in the distal parts of the yaks' body – forelegs and hind legs, the back, the sacrum (back), as well as on the head (forehead and cheek).

俄语. Цель исследования – изучить особенности физиологических показателей разных половозрастных групп популяции памирского экотипа яков в суровых климатических условиях гор Республики Таджикистан. Экспериментальная часть работы выполнена в июле – октябре в условиях дехканского хозяйства, расположенного на высоте 4200 м над уровнем моря. Для опыта были отобраны 20 ячих в возрасте 4–5 лет и старше. Термотопографию кожи измеряли электротермометром, температуру тела – ректально ветеринарным термометром, частоту дыхания определяли визуально по секундомеру, а частоту пульса – при помощи фонендоскопа в течение 60 с (при температуре окружающей среды от 0 до 20 град. С). Доказано, что средняя температура тела у взрослых яков и молодняка на 0,2–0,3 град. С ниже, чем у обычного крупного рогатого скота соответствующего возраста и составляет 37,7-38,9 град. С у взрослых животных и 38,0-39,8 град. С у молодняка. Показано, что с повышением температуры воздуха (в полдень) пульс у молодняка яков в среднем увеличивается на 32 удара, а дыхание учащается на 27 дыхательных движений по сравнению со взрослыми животными. Яки хорошо приспособлены к низкой температуре воздуха, а в жаркие дни (при температуре воздуха на солнце 20–25 град. С) их жизнедеятельность, состояние и здоровье, резко ухудшаются; особенно это касается ячат. Количество дыхательных движений у яков может превышать этот показатель у крупного рогатого скота домашних пород в 2–3 раза,. Возможность теплоотдачи у яков через поверхность тела менее ярко выражена, чем у скота домашних пород, что связно с обильной оброслостью яков, а также с толщиной и особенностями строения их кожи. Наибольше различия в температуре кожи при изменении температуры окружающей среды от 15 до 20 град. С наблюдаются у яков на дистальных участках тела – передней и задней конечностях, спине, крестце (зад), а также на голове (лоб и щека).
