In recent years, the precision farming technologies are increasingly used in livestock feeding and health management. The aim of the current research was to analyze correlation between “HeaTime Pro System” registered daily rumination times and cows’ average milk yield, number of lactations, milk fat, somatic cell count and health status. The individual rumination times of cows were gathered daily at 24:00 seven days before and after (R15) milk sampling day (MSD) in one dairy herd. The rumination data were divided into groups: productivity − above 40 kg dE-1 (30 cows) and below 20 kg dE-1 (41); milk fat below 3.10% (27) and above 5% during the first 40 days of lactation (12); somatic cell count (SCC) above 1 million (10). In high yield group, productivity 43.3±3.0 kg was significantly (p is less than 0.05) higher than in low yield group 17.9±1.6 kg, but rumination time on milk sampling day (RM) did not differed significantly . The cows in the third, fourth lactation (L3, L4) R15 was higher than in L1, L2. The lowest R15 was found in the mycoplasmosis group. Cows with milk fat above 5.00% showed a negative correlation with R15 (r=-0.75), but L2 cows’ R15 was significantly (p is less than 0.05) higher than L1, L4 cows. In cows with milk fat below 3.10%, R15 was significantly (p is less than 0.05) higher than in low yield cows. Cows with high SCC R15 were below 500 min dE-1. Cows with different milk yield, milk composition, lactation number, during illness with ketosis, mastitis, mycoplasmosis have significant difference (p is less than 0.05) in average rumination time.
