The effectiveness of the innovative organic fertilizers for potatoes cultivation in the forest-steppe of the Middle Volga region | Эффективность инновационных органических удобрений при возделывании картофеля в лесостепи Среднего Поволжья

The aim of the study was to increase the productivity of potato varieties by using innovative organic fertilizers obtained from recycled agricultural waste in the forest – steppe zone of the Middle Volga region. The object of research is potato varieties Rosara and Rosalind. In the field experiment variants were compared: no fertilizer control; complete mineral fertilizer (N16P16K16); and dry organic fertilizer, and a liquid organic fertilizer (both in the rates equivalent to NPK in nitrogen). Application of fertilizers contributed to the increase of soil moisture index by 0.5-1.8%. By harvesting potatoes, soil moisture in every variant of the experiment was approximately identical. The use of new organic fertilizers led to a decrease in soil compaction during planting potatoes compared to the control. The application of new organic fertilizers increases the infestation of potato with perennial and annual weeds both in number, and in weight. The use of organic fertilizers, both liquid and dry, provided an increase in almost all elements of the structure of the potato crop, especially the number of tubers formed in 1 bush. Due to the application of mineral fertilizers, the increase in the harvest of tubers on average for 2015-2017 amounted to 11.2-11.4%, organic fertilizers – 35.7-42.3%, when the yield in control was 31.1 and 31.9 t/ha (Rosara and Rosalind, respectively). Rosalind variety was more productive compared to Rosara. The use of mineral and organic fertilizers contributed to an increase in the starch content in tubers from 14.9 and 15.3% to 15.8-16.7%,, as well as increased the yield of commercial tubers from 81.8-82.9% to 83.2-84.9%. Dry organic fertilizer was most effective from those studied in the experiment.

Цель исследования – повышение продуктивности сортов картофеля при использовании инновационных органических удобрений, полученных из переработанных с.-х. отходов, в условиях лесостепной зоны Среднего Поволжья. Объект исследований – картофель сортов Розара и Розалинд. В полевом опыте сравнивали варианты: контроль без удобрений; полное минеральное удобрение (N16P16K16); сухое органическое удобрение и жидкое органическое удобрение (оба – в нормах, эквивалентных NPK по азоту). Применение удобрений способствовало повышению показателя влажности метрового слоя почвы на 0,5-1,8%. К уборке картофеля влажность почвы во всех вариантах опыта была примерно одинаковой. Использование новых органических удобрений привело к снижению уплотнения почвы в период посадки картофеля по сравнению с контролем. Внесение новых органических удобрений увеличило засорённость картофеля многолетними и однолетними сорняками как по количеству, так и по массе. Применение и жидкого, сухого органических удобрений обеспечило повышение почти всех элементов структуры урожая картофеля, особенно количества клубней, сформированных в 1 кусте. За счет внесения минеральных удобрений прибавка урожая клубней в среднем за 2015-2017 гг. составила 11,2-11,4%, органических удобрений – 35,7-42,3% при урожайности в контроле 31,1 и 31,9 т/га (Розара и Розалинд соответственно). Сорт Розалинд был более урожайным по сравнению с сортом Розара. Применение минеральных и органических удобрений способствовало увеличению содержания крахмала в клубнях с 14,9 и 15,3% до 15,8-16,7%, а также повысило выход товарных клубней с 81,8-82,9% до 83,2-84,9%. Сухое органическое удобрение оказалось наиболее эффективным из изученных в опыте удобрений.
