The positive influence of effective microorganisms in the composition of the preparations "Baikal EM1" and "EM-Kurunga", fed to pregnant cows (3 groups with 25 heads in each group) on the viability of calves, the composition and properties of colostrum and reproductive ability of cows. Baikal EM1 was administered to the animals of the 1-st test group (TG), and the animals of the 2-nd TG received EM-Kurunga. The most biologically complete colostrum was obtained from cows of the 2nd TG, it had more dry matter by 1.55 points, than in the colostrum of cows of the control group (P less than 0.01), and by 0.42 points – in the 1st TG. Dry matter content in the colostrum of cows of the 1st TG was higher by 1.13 points, compared with the control, the difference was significant at P less than 0.05. Colostrum proteins are of the greatest importance in feeding calves. They differ from the milk proteins in its fractional composition. The content of total protein in the colostrum of cows of the TGs was significantly higher in 1st group by 0.79% (P less than 0.05), while the 2nd TG – by 1.14% (P less than 0.01) in comparison with the control, the content of whey proteins was higher by 0.86% (P less than 0.05) and 1.09% (P less 0.001), respectively. Thus, the colostrum obtained from cows of the 2nd TG had a higher immune property. Over the study period in all groups there were diseased calves. In the control group 6 calves were ill or 60%, in 1st and 2nd TGs of 10 newborn calves 4 heads in each group were ill, which is 33% lower than in the control. All the cows in the 3 groups were inseminated as soon as is practicable, however, the conception rate from the first insemination of cows of the TGs was higher (52%) than in the control group (44%).

Установлено положительное влияние эффективных микроорганизмов в составе препаратов "Байкал ЭМ1" и "ЭМ-Курунга", скармливаемых стельным коровам (3 гр. по 25 гол.), на сохранность телят, состав и свойства молозива, а также воспроизводительную способность коров. Животным 1-й опытной группы (ОГ) вводили препарат "Байкал ЭМ1", а животные 2-й ОГ получали "ЭМ-Курунга". Наиболее биологически полноценное молозиво получено от коров 2-й ОГ, в нем больше сухого вещества на 1,55 пункта, чем в молозиве коров контрольной группы (Р меньше 0,01), и на 0,42 пункта – 1-й ОГ. Содержание сухого вещества в молозиве коров 1-й ОГ было выше на 1,13 пункта по сравнению с контролем, разница при этом достоверна при Р меньше 0,05. Наибольшее значение при выпойке телятам имеют белки молозива. Они отличаются от белков молока своим фракционным составом. В исследованиях содержание общего белка в молозиве коров опытных групп было достоверно выше, в 1-й группе на 0,79% (Р меньше 0,05), а во 2-й – на 1,14% (Р меньше 0,01) по сравнению с контролем, содержание сывороточных белков выше на 0,86% (Р меньше 0,05) и 1,09% (Р меньше 0,001) соответственно. Таким образом, молозиво, полученное от коров 2-й ОГ, обладало более высокими иммунными свойствами. За период исследований во всех группах были заболевшие телята. В контрольной группе заболело 6 телят, или 60%, в 1-й и 2-й ОГ из 10 новорожденных телят заболело по 4 гол., что на 33% меньше, чем в контрольной. Все коровы в трех группах были осеменены в оптимальные сроки, однако оплодотворяемость от первого осеменения коров опытных групп была выше (52%), чем у животных контрольной группы (44%).
