The content of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere does not explain the glaciation on the Earth, as S. Arrhenius and T. Chamberlain thought. The foci of the formation of glaciation are associated with geocratic eras of the development of the Earth‟s mobile belts and concurrent epeirogenic uplift of the bordering solid substrate. Ref. 2.
