Antibacterial activity of volcanic and slit peloids of Georgia.

The experimental study of the antibacterial properties of volcanic and silt peloids of Georgia was performed. The study revealed that, in volcanic mud, antibacterial properties are insignificant, while slit mud provides congenial conditions for the growth of gram-positive bacteria. Tab. 3, Ref. 6.
