The article describes the features of changes in the content of free amino acids in mature rats with different diets on the background of the introduction of testosterone. Eating with different diets the background of testosterone administration causes a change in the content of amino acids in serum and erythrocytes: a diet rich in proteins leads to a decrease in the content of free amino acids, and a diet rich in carbohydrates – to their increase, which demonstrates the predominance of anabolism (protein diet) or catabolism (carbohydrate diet).
