By plant spraying or by foliar treatment, plant extracts are used in plant production as pesticides, against the various disease causative agents, but also against the pests on plants and as a source of macro and microelements in plant nutrition. Foliar application of nettle and comfrey extract in one or in two rounds increases the yield, protein and oil content of the soybean, as well as the proteins and oil yield per unit area.
