In the year of two jubilleies, 60 years of the Serbian Oil Industry Counseling and 40 years of Business Association „Industrijsko bilje”, the total data from 2018 is summarized. In this year, the record production of oil crops, sunflower and soybean, as the leading oil crops in our country, was achieved. The production, consumption and balance of oil in Serbia were also summarized. This paper presents an overview of all the indicators related to the achieved records that reflect the overall situation in Serbia, such as macroeconomic categories, gross domestic product (GDP), growth rate of agricultural production, as well as population data.
