Yield and quality of alternate barley grain cultivated in the Crimea | Продуктивность и качество зерна сортов двуручек ячменя при возделывании в условиях Крыма

英语. The aim of the work was to study new varieties of alternate winter barley and to assess their potential and quality when grown under the conditions of the Crimean steppe. The experiments were carried out in the central steppe zone of the Crimea from 2016 to 2018. Five varieties of alternate barley were studied. The accounting area of the experimental plot – 25 m2. Field experiments were replicated four times in a systematic design. The technology of barley growing – conventional for the region. Appropriate observations, records, measurements and analyses according to the methodology of the State standard for variety testing accompanied these experiments. For all statistical analyses, B. А. Dospekhov methodology was used. Weather conditions during the years of research were very different. The period 2016-2017 was favorable for the development of winter and spring grain crops, but 2017-2018 was unfavorable because of drought. The yield of alternate barley sown in autumn was higher than that sown in spring (34% and 144%, respectively, in 2017 and 2018). In 2017, when barley was sown as a winter crop, the yield of variety 'Master' (6.66 t/ha) was nearly the same as the yield of standard variety. The rest of the studied varieties showed a significant decrease in yield. In 2018, variety 'Dostoyniy' gave the maximum yield (5.01 t/ha). This indicated its high adaptability to drought conditions. In favorable weather conditions of 2017, the yield of spring barley variety 'Strannik' was 3.99 t/ha (at the level of that of alternate barley), but in 2018, when weather conditions were extremely arid, its yield exceeded the alternate on average by 32%. Variety 'Vivat' sown both in autumn and spring had the highest content of protein. The protein content in grain sown as winter crop was 12.2% in 2017 and 14.5% in 2018, while that of the grain sown as spring crop was 14.5% and 17.0%, respectively. The protein content of the grain of spring barley variety 'Strannik' was practically the same as that of the best alternate barley and reached 14.5% and 17.2% in 2017 and 2018, respectively.

俄语. Цель исследований – изучение новых сортов двуручек ячменя, оценка их продуктивного потенциала и качества зерна при выращивании в условиях степного Крыма. Исследования проводили в 2016-2018 гг. в центральной степной части Крыма. Изучали 5 сортов ячменей двуручек. Погодные условия в годы проведения исследований отличались разнообразием. Вегетационный период 2016–2017 гг. был благоприятным для развития озимых и яровых зерновых культур, а 2017–2018 – неблагоприятным из-за засушливых явлений. Урожайность двуручек при озимом сроке сева была выше, чем при яровом на 34% и 144% соответственно в 2017 и 2018 гг. В условиях 2017 г. при озимом сроке сева урожайность на уровне стандарта обеспечил сорт Мастер (6,66 т/га), на остальных изучаемых сортах отмечено достоверное снижение урожайности. В 2018 г. максимальную урожайность (5,01 т/га) сформировал сорт Достойный, что говорит о его высокой адаптивности в условиях засухи. Урожайность ярового сорта Странник в благоприятных условиях 2017 г. составила 3,99 т/га и была на уровне двуручек, а в засушливом 2018 г. – превысила двуручки в среднем на 32%. Наиболее высокобелковым как при озимом, так и яровом сроках сева был сорт Виват, обеспечивший содержание белка в зерне при озимом посеве на уровне 12,2% и 14,5% в 2017 и 2018 гг. соответственно и при яровом посеве – на уровне 14,5% и 17,0%.Содержание белка в зерне ярового ячменя сорта Странник было на уровне с наиболее высокобелковыми сортами двуручками и составляло 14,5% и 17,2% в 2017 и 2018 гг. соответственно.
