The article presents the results of a two-year study of nitrogen-fixing ability of the determinant narrow-leafed lupine variety Ladny in single-species sowing and mixed with spring wheat Zlata depending on fertilizers and seeding rates. Their influence on the size of fixed nitrogen input into the soil with plant residues and the prospect of enriching the arable layer when growing for grain are discussed.
