Three new species of the genus Polycatus Heller, 1912 (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Polycatini) from the Philippines

Three new species of the genus Polycatus Heller, 1912 (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Entiminae: Polycatini) from the Philippine Islands are described and illustrated: P. barsevskisi Bramanti, Bramanti and Rukmane sp. nov., P. caterinae Bramanti and Bramanti sp. nov., P. negrosensis Bramanti, Bramanti and Rukmane sp. nov. A key for species of the panayensis group of Mindanao, Negros and Panay Islands is proposed. Eversion of endophallus is used for the first time within the genus Polycatus, as a method for species delimitation. Distribution maps, as well as new faunistic records are provided.
