Bukletā ir iekļauti iedvesmojoši stāsti par to, kā privātā un publiskā sektora pārstāvji piecās Eiropas valstīs ir meklējuši un radījuši zināšanās balstītus, gudrus un efektīvus risinājumus un turpina tos attīstīt, veicinot bioekonomikas izaugsmi nolūkā saglabāt bioloģisko daudzveidību un ekosistēmas pakalpojumus, palielināt uzņēmumu konkurētspēju un izmantot plaši zināmu, kā arī jaunu, vēl neizzinātu resursu potenciālu. Vairākumā no stāstiem pozitīvās pārmaiņas ir realizētas, izmantojot vienu no visefektīvākajiem instrumentiem ‒ sadarbību, kurai nav robežu vai ierobežojumu. Tā paver iespējas iepazīt un pārņemt jaunākās zināšanas un pieejas, kas pastāv gan reģionālajā ekosistēmā, gan ārpus tās, tādējādi radot priešnoteikumus inovācijām, kas nepieciešamas efektīvas un ilgtspējīgas bioekonomikas attīstībai.

The booklet contains inspiring stories about how private and public sector representatives in five European countries have sought and created knowledge-based, smart and efficient solutions and continue to develop them, promoting growth of the bioeconomy to preserve biodiversity and ecosystem services, increasing the competitiveness of businesses and exploiting them widely known, as well as a new, not yet known the potential of resources. In most of the stories, positive change has been achieved through one of the most effective tools ‒ cooperation without borders or restrictions. It provides opportunities to learn about and adopt the latest knowledge and approaches that exist both inside and outside the regional ecosystem, thus creating the preconditions for the innovations needed to develop an efficient and sustainable bioeconomy.
