The paper reprezents a result of floristic and taxonomical treatment of genus Hieracium L. (Asteraceae) for the flora of Republic of Moldova. The genus contains 8 species, 6 of which are rare. The diagnostic caracters, biomorphological, ecological and corological features, as well as the key for their determination is given.
