This study investigated the effect of administration of BW water on intestinal flora in animals. Animals were administrated 0.1 - 1% of BM water in drinking water. Lactic acid bacteria, i.e. bifidobacteria, lactobacili and enterococci, were dramatically increased in number and there was a decrease in the concentration of VFA, i.e. ropionic acid, butyric acid, valeric acid and iso-valeric acid, in fecal contents of administrated animals.
