Ewe's milk is usually processed into cheese or sour milk, which makes the selection of raw milk for this products of great importance. Many factors influences the chemical composition and the hygienic correctness of milk, so this research is aimed to determine the changes in the chemical composition of milk and the content of milk urea during ewe?s lactation. Sampling was carried out at the farm with nine ewes, on the 10th and 40th day of lactation. Individual samples were taken from both halves of ews's udder. The determination of the chemical composition and the content of milk urea was carried out on the MilkoScanFT apparatus. The results showed a decrease in fat content in each individual sample collected on the 40th day compared to 10th day of lactation, and there was a decrease of dry matter too. At the same time, there was not noticeable variation in the content of lactose and protein between the 10th and 40th day of lactation. The content of milk urea was significantly higher in the samples collected on the 10th day compared to the 40th day of lactation.
