Establishment of regularities of formation of water flows on slopes for justification of projects of antierosion agroforestry

The purpose of the study was to determine the extent of the slope sections that are not subject to erosion, from the water flow rates and the slope for the design and creation of anti-erosion plantings. The experiment was conducted on a slope with slopes of 0.04?0.12 (2.5?7?) with southern chernozem on a flask with A+B < 0.5 m. The extent of the zone of absence of linear erosion (erosion) on the slope under study depends on many natural and anthropogenic factors, the most important of which are precipitation, runoff, slope, water-physical properties of the soil, vegetation, and human economic activity, which determine the formation of water flows with sediments. The formation of linear erosion differs from the surface main image in that gullies are formed at some distance from the watershed, and the soil is washed away throughout the slope. With the increasing slope of the slope, the ravines move closer to the watershed with their top, which is the basis for assigning the distance between the forest strips, water-retaining ramparts that stop the erosion of the soil. The permissible value of soil erosion can be achieved by further application of agromeliorative techniques in inter-band spaces. The results of the experiment showed that when the actual bottom water flow rate increases by 1.6 times and the slope increases by 3 times, the length of the areas that are not subject to erosion decreases by 33 times. ?orrelation analysis of the results of the study allowed us to establish that the length of the slope sections with no erosion depends on the slope and the actual bottom velocity of water flows with sediments by 85 %. Recommended distances between contour forest strips, ramparts-ditches with slope slopes: up to 0.04 (2.5?) ? 400? 1000 m; 0.07 (4?) ? 300 m; 0.10 (6?) ? 200 m; 0.12 (7?) ? 100 m.
